    This very first edition of 2025's Global Health Management Journal marks our 8th anniversary, featuring a diverse collection of articles addressing urgent global health challenges. The editorial highlights the critical need for global health strategies to mitigate the effects of climate change on human health. A perspective piece analyzes Thailand’s PM 2.5 policies, shedding light on overlooked environmental health concerns. The best practice article explores the potential of Crab Abon as a sustainable fishery product in Indonesia.

    The research section covers a broad range of topics, including the psychosocial effects of Indonesian soap operas on Malaysian millennials, the impact of HIV education in schools, and the quality of life in heart failure patients with obesity paradox. Additional studies examine personal hygiene among traditional jamu handlers, tuberculosis transmission risks in children, and the antioxidant and anti-proliferative effects of Murraya koenigii (L.) leaves on breast cancer cells.

    This Special Edition features the selected papers from the 1st Cirebon International Health Symposium, organized by Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati, in cooperation with the publisher Indonesian Scholars' Alliance. Prior the review process, the authors have submitted the Ethical Approval document and the authorship declaration. The papers published in this Special Edition have been double-blind peer-reviewed by the Editorial Board of Global Health Management Journal, and the internal or external reviewer, which the Reviewer Acknowledgment document is available online with DOI Number 10.35898/ghmj-741148

    This edition presents a comprehensive exploration of post-Covid-19 pandemic challenges through a collection of enlightening articles. The Guest Editorial, titled "Protecting the Future," delves into interdisciplinary research reflections on the Covid-19 pandemic. Featured Review articles include an insightful scoping review on the recovery process of schizophrenia in Indonesia, an exploration of the untapped skills of hospital pharmacists in South Africa, and a systematic review on the prevalence, pathophysiology, and treatment of urticaria post-COVID-19 vaccination. Additionally, two compelling Research articles contribute to the edition, examining the antioxidant activity and consumer sensory perceptions of Uru Lewu (Eleusine indica) formulations and identifying risk factors for severe stunting among children aged 2-5 years in Pontianak City, Indonesia.     This issue features 5 research articles focused on various aspects of healthcare management in Indonesia. These include studies on the correlation between job satisfaction, compensation, and work environment on nurse turnover intention, the effect of professional nursing practice model training on nursing care delivery, and the impact of emotional intelligence and transformational leadership on nurses' performance. Additionally, there is a study on standard operating procedures of antenatal care and its relation to pregnant women's satisfaction during pregnancy examination.

    The issue also includes an editorial discussing what to include in a review, commentary, editorial, and special edition of the journal. Lastly, the issue features an article on innovative strategies to promote global health, with a focus on lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic.

    Health Forum and International Seminar (HFIS) provides space for all students and education professionals worldwide to respond to the problem of communication barriers during virtual learnings. At the end of the seminar, targeted participants are expected to enhance their communication skills and bring virtual communication to a pleasant experience level.

    The journal welcome organizers to publish their highly standard papers to be published as Special Issues of Global Health Management Journal. The papers can broadly describe the extension of political, social, and environmental determinants of health.
